Audrey Anderson’s curiosity about the natural world developed into a passion for STEM and conservation.  Her research regarding resilin’s potential as a novel marker of honeybee health has earned her recognition as a Davidson Fellow, Coca-Cola Scholar, American Junior Academy of Science Delegate, and National Junior Science and Humanities Symposium Winner.  She is studying Biological Systems Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to design systems that allow humans and the natural environment to mutually benefit from each other.  Audrey is excited to be a part of the BEEducated Team and work with other youth who are passionate about pollinator conservation.

ABOUT US >

BEEducated is a youth-driven organization combating the harmful environmental and economic impacts of Colony Collapse Disorder on the global bee population. Our efforts are focused on raising awareness about the pollinator crisis through our app, research, and outreach. Unfortunately, the bee population has declined by over 3.5 million since 1947. Our mission is to empower youth to work with their communities to help bees thrive once again.
